All Globe-Trotter suitcases are incredibly robust and can withstand a beating from the most aggressive of baggage handlers. Globe-Trotter vulcanised fibreboard itself is as strong as leather and the unique construction of the case adds strength to the product so that a Globe-Trotter suitcase should last a lifetime of travelling.
However, the fact of the matter is that any type of luggage can be mishandled whilst in transit and sometimes accidents do happen. In the event of damage caused when travelling it must be reported to the airline desk before leaving the airport at your arrival terminal. By doing so, and the incident being logged by the airline, you should be provided with evidence of the claim (usually a unique reference number). This reference should enable you to make a claim against the airline to either repair or replace your Globe-Trotter suitcase at the cost of the airline.
