Candy Limited Edition
Globe-Trotter has launched an updated Candy Limited Edition, featuring ‘Queue for the Zoo’ lining – a fun and quirky Liberty print featuring a hidden surprise alongside the iconic Globe-Trotter elephant. The Candy Limited Edition is hand crafted from Hot Pink vulcanised fibreboard, with rich Burgundy leather trim and finished with Chrome hardware. Open the case to discover the playful Liberty print, in shades of Pink and Purple to perfectly complement the external suitcase colours. The ‘Queue for the Zoo’ print features an array of animals, including an elephant – Globe-Trotter’s unofficial mascot. Back in 1912 Globe- Trotter undertook a strength test on one of their trunks at the Zoological Gardens, Hamburg. The trunk successfully bore the weight of a 1-ton elephant, highlighting the strength of Globe-Trotter’s luggage. The collection is available in a range of sizes, including 13″ Vanity Case £500, 21″ Trolley Case £995 and 30″ Extra Deep Suitcase with Wheels £1,235. The case is constructed from Dark Green Vulcanised fibreboard, with Chocolate Brown leather trim and polished brass hardware. Inside, the case is lined with Ventile in Military Green. Ventile is a unique material which is waterproof, windproof, durable and light, and was used by Sir Edmund Hilary on his expedition in 1963. Each case in this series also comes with a brown leather luggage tag with gold foil emboss. Prices start at £515 for a 9″ Mini Utility, and go up to £1,450 for a 33″ Extra Deep Suitcase with Wheels.
